Level One COVID-19 Update

Level One COVID-19 Update for March 20, 2020

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf issued an order that all non-life sustaining businesses shut down physical operations as of 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020.

In light of the recent news, I wanted to update everyone on the status of Level One’s office operations and working from home. Level One is categorized as a data processing / information services company which can remain open. Those that wish to work from home are equipped to do so without interruption to their work effort in supporting our clients.

While the situation is changing rapidly, we have not experienced any disruptions or impact to our services as a result of the outbreak. Level One continues to actively monitor the news and follow CDC guidance to protect our employees’ health at work.

We recognize that our utility customers play a critical role in helping our country respond to this unique challenge, by providing the critical infrastructure that powers our hospitals and health care facilities, our federal, state and local response centers, and the millions of homes and businesses where people live and work.

To ensure your business does not encounter any service interruptions during this time of concern, we continue to take every precaution necessary to ensure continuity of service to our customers.

Integral to our SOC 2 compliance, Level One remains poised to act on business continuity plans across our footprint if necessary.

Changes to our daily operations include:

  • Approximately half of our employees are currently working from home without impact to conducting business.
  • Employees reporting each day to our corporate office are practicing safe social distancing and video conferencing.
  • Non-essential travel and group activities have been postponed or cancelled.
  • Our infrastructure team continues to monitor our network activities at our datacenter and does not anticipate any impact.
  • We remain in constant communication with all production facilities to obtain daily reporting on their operational readiness. We stand ready to redirect production to alternate facilities to ensure continuity of our printing and mailing operations.

Thank you for partnership and allowing us to serve you. Future updates will be available on our website here.

Sincerely,
John Parker Boland
President
